Magdalena Quinlan has worked in the field of Human Resources since 1998 in a variety of business settings including small family businesses, large government bodies, start-ups and publicly listed multinational corporations. She is experienced in supporting a diverse range of occupations and industries ranging from blue collar manufacturing and trade roles to senior executives/CEOs.

During her time as an HR Professional, Magdalena has played a lead role in problem-solving a variety of individual, team and organisation issues ranging from culture overhauls, teamwork issues, company restructures, enterprise bargaining and leadership development programs. She is a pragmatic thinker and prides herself on her no-fuss, straightforward approach.

Since moving from Sydney to the Central Coast in 2013, Magdalena realised an opportunity to apply her skills and experience to help small businesses with their HR needs. After speaking with many small business owners and hearing their stories, she recognised that it wasn’t easy to hire ad-hoc, by-the-hour human resource expertise, and consequently founded iQhr in 2019 to fill this need.

Magdalena has a Bachelors Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations and Political Science from the University of New South Wales. She is also a qualified workplace trainer and delivers workshops and leadership sessions across Australia. At present, she is honing her skills in diversity and inclusion initiatives to help businesses unleash new ways of thinking and operating, whilst retaining and engaging top talent.
